The success of artsPeak as a community based event depends upon the participation of Bow Valley residents as presenting artists, event volunteers and supporters.

artsPeak will provide quality artistic experiences for diverse audiences offering both free and ticketed events.

artsPeak will be a financially sustainable organization that will support the arts in our community.

In keeping with our core values, artsPeak 2010 will once again provide a wide range of arts-related activities for our community and visitors alike. One of the goals of our event is to provide the opportunity for increased economic activity by attracting visitors to Canmore with the specific purpose of attending the festival. A key element of the festival is that most of the activities and events are free of charge to audiences and participants which is only possible through the generous support of our business community.

As a primary activity of the Canadian Mountain Arts Foundation, artsPeak provides an excellent opportunity for individuals and companies to both support our local arts community and receive significant profile benefits in return. We are currently underway with our 2010 campaign and have added some important new Partners for 2010 as well as welcoming back most of our Partners from previous festivals.

The Canmore Downtown Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ) works together to create a vibrant downtown atmosphere by undertaking specific programs, activities as well as promoting and improving the Canmore Downtown area. This brings together both the local community and visitors alike to enjoy their shopping, dining and special event experiences. Welcome to Canmore!

The Canmore Downtown BRZ also acts as one voice from its members to address Town of Canmore Council on pertinent issues relating to the Canmore Downtown area. Created in 2005 this non profit volunteer run organization is funded by its membership of core businesses and consists of 239 members.
