 The 2011 artLens Photography Contest is now open for submissions!

The Canmore Camera Club is excited to be hosting the fourth artLens Community Photography Contest.  The theme for this year is “Faces of Water in the Bow Valley” and will be judged in three categories:  Grades 1-9, 10-12 and Adults with a maximum of three entries per person. The Camera club will also be hosting photography workshops on Saturday and Sunday of the festival. The deadline for entry is Friday, May 20 so start shooting Canmore

artFair - Registration is now Closed

Take your show on the road and participate in the artFair at our new location at the Civic Centre Plaza on 7th Ave The artFair showcases one of a kind works of art unique to Canada and/or the Canadian Rockies. Cost to present is a flat rate booth rental of $150.00

artTour - Registration is now Closed

artTour is truly a unique opportunity as it showcases Canmore galleries, artists and their businesses and where to find them!! With a growing number of galleries, showrooms and studios, this activity creates an art adventure for visitors keen to see a variety of works.

For the Festival, a longer description of your studio and images will accompany a keyed artTour map as part of the artsPeak Festival Program included in the Rocky Mountain Outlook; 11,000 copies + 1,500 over-run copies. This map and the artTour information will encourage artsPeak visitors to spend the day visiting studios around Canmore.

Your gallery or studio will need to be available to the public from 10 am until at least 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. You may also opt to hold demonstrations / talks about your art throughout the weekend (e.g. “artist’s talk at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00 on Saturday”).

Your remittance of $200.00, payable to Canadian Mountain Arts Foundation (see below for mail address) will be required when you register.
