artTour

artTour is truly a unique opportunity as it showcases Canmore artists and their businesses and where to find them!! With a growing number of galleries, showrooms and studios outside the downtown area, this activity creates an art adventure for visitors keen to see a variety of works.

Should you wish to have your studio included in artTour, your name, studio name and title will be printed on a rack card that promotes the event throughout Alberta.; 6000 copies printed. For the Festival, a longer description of your studio and images will accompany a keyed artTour map as part of the artsPeak program included in the Rocky Mountain Outlook; 11,000 copies + 2,000 over-run copies. This map and the artTour information will encourage artsPeak visitors to spend the day visiting studios around Canmore.

Your studio will need to be available to the public from 10 am until at least 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. You may also opt to hold demonstrations / talks about your art throughout the weekend (e.g. “artist’s talk at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00 on Saturday”).

Your remittance of $200.00, payable to Canadian Mountain Arts Foundation (see below for mail address) will be required when you register.

The Deadline for the 2010 artTour registration is April 15th, 2010.
